  • Visa Requirements

    Tourist / Buisnes

    • The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 6 months.
    • One visa application form (photocopy allowed).
    • Photocopies of Applicant's Passport.
    • Two recent passport-size photographs.
    • A typed covering letter from the Applicant / Company stating the purpose of travel, the duration of stay required and type of visa required (single or multiple).
    • An Invitation letter from sponsor in Malawi.
    • Hotel Confirmation.
    • Daily Itinerary and Air tickets.
    • Proof of funds in the form of foreign exchange endorsement on the passport or copy of Credit Card.
    • Bank statement for the last 3 months.
    • Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years.
    • Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required from the Applicant. A Yellow fever vaccination certificate is valid for 10 years, beginning 10 days after vaccination. Vaccination shot to be taken accordingly.
    • Embassy issues an approval letter and the visa will be stamped on arrival.
    • Visa processing time is minimum 3 working days.
